The ORC has the Andy Binda Boathouse and secure outdoor rackage dedicated to the storage of privately owned rowing shells (singles).<\/p>\n
Rackage is limited<\/strong>. Boat owners in the Andy Binda Boathouse have priority to a rack spot in the boathouse, all others need to request to be put on the waiting list.<\/p>\n If you wish to inquire about storage or waiting list, please email Stewart Taylor<\/a>.<\/p>\n All private boat owners holding a rackage spot at the club must register in a Full Recreational or Competitive Program and be in good standing with\u00a0Rowing Canada and Row Ontario<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n Rackage fees for privately owned shells are due by April 1 and must be paid using the online platform Zeffy.<\/p>\n When private singles go out on the water, rowers must fill in the\u00a0tracking sheets<\/strong>, at the door of the Andy Binda Boathouse.<\/p>\n The ORC is not responsible for insuring private boats against theft or damage. All private boat owners should contact their personal insurance broker about boat insurance.<\/strong><\/p>\n Singles that are not rowed regularly, may be moved to higher less convenient racks. Rackage payment, does not guarantee the same rackage spot each year, it only guarantees a rack spot in the boathouse. More convenient racks will go to those using their boats more often. Please review ORC Policy Manual\u00a0Rowing is Our Business<\/a>\u00a0regarding rackage.<\/p>\n If taking a one year sabbatical from rowing, and storage is still required, please notify Stewart Taylor, Head of Rackage Committee, with request in writing and proof of rackage payment by April 1. This guarantees storage (not a specific rack spot) at the club.<\/p>\n The ORC has the right to move any stored boat if there is no response from the boat owner when contacted by email.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n<\/h2>\n
